Bruh, do you even blog?

Maybe? I used to. Sorta. Hey! I've been completely up front about how bad I am at updating. Or just dating in general. Rambling? Yeah. Soooooooooo...

How're things?

Stuff and things, let's see... I've been writing again. Just not here. I have the seeds of an idea floating through my head for a Pathfinder (think Dungeons & Dragons - there ya go) campaign based out of a single city that should allow for some immersive roleplaying. The kind of RP you typically don't get when you've got a party that's gallivanting across some gods-forsaken country trying to save a world that sometimes feels like it maybe doesn't want to be (or shouldn't be) saved. That's a dig at the module I've been running for my regular group. It's, well, rough.

Been toying with a spaceship design for submission to Lego Ideas (hence my Benny pic - SPACESHIP!!!!). It's not quite finished. I want to order specific parts to get a decent color scheme and frankly I prefer actually building the thing to designing it in the design program. I'll post pics of that as it nears completion.

Then there's the fitness challenge at work. For those who don't know, a few years ago I lost about 100 pounds. I learned recently that I have since found most it. All the hard work I did to get to that point, completely undone. So, armed only with my determination and using the challenge as an added incentive, I am back on the path and already down 20 pounds. Pics for a visual aid:

The one on the left was taken on Thanksgiving. The other today, all of 30 minutes ago. I started exercising the last week of January. I can't believe what a difference there is already. I can't wait to fit back into my old new clothes.

That wasn't a resolution, either. That was just plain, good old fashioned disgust and self-loathing. Despite that, it's nice to see that I'm beginning to build a pattern of self improvement. Now if I can just improve the timing to more than once a year.
